Is "GPS" mod legal?

 Yesterday, I dowloaded a GTA V hud mod (seen in the screenshot). But it also came with a "GPS" mod. It shows the fastest path to a destination with a pink/violet trail (also seen in the SS. Bottom left).
I asked some people on the server, but some said no, some said yes. So to find a true answer, I'm going to ask here. If it isn't legal, I'll delete the mod, and you can screen share me. I don't want to get banned on this server for a stupid mod... I really enjoy playing on this server, it would SUCK if I would get banned. So, anyways, waiting for your responce.

I used to use this. It only works on stock GTA lands and it just shows one of many possible routes. No need to over complicate things and say you can't use it. One way or another you're gonna get there. Who cares.

i would say that it is okay because i use to use this mod when my computer didn't have a fit with me and sometimes it is easier to find places on map that you can not see from far away on stock sa map
