Heists release tomorrow on Xbox 360, Xbox One PS3 and PS4.
From what i've read/seen so far:
5 heists. Crew leader gets the money (10%) to set up the heist itself. $550,000 take would be $55,000.
4 players needed.
You can split the money (as leader) between the group however you choose.
Missions are long and involve multiple things.
New achievements are currently on Xbox 360 that are heist related. So PS3/4 may get these too (someone can check).
More clothes and vehicles are being added as part of the update.
You can email other players (not sure if it means online players or not) and they'll receive it on their phone.
New Lester and Trevor/Ron activities in freemode (blowing up vehicles (planes/cars))

Me and a friend are looking for 2 other people to do this shit with :D at least then they wont (hopefully) be random and awful. Just make sure you're not low level with shitty cars & weapons.
I'll likely get the Steam version too so i'll be doing heists on that as well :D

You can do that after you compleat all 5 heists.

Not checked to see if the updates dropped or not, but next gen (being PS4/Xbox One) update is around 4GB (just speculation as far as i know) and Xbox 360 / PS3 is around 1.5GB/2.GB

Heists are out now. After the release breaking Xbox Live and PSN. Xbox Live DLC is 1.5GB (i think it was).
So far i've seen:
- Spam of heist invites. Im not accepting since A) Random. B) they might not have a mic. C) Shitty english skills. D) Squeaker. E) I prefer friends. We're more coordinated and have more chance of reading each others next move(s).
- A "point" animation. Double tap right thumb stick and your character will point in the direction :) pretty funny.
- Lester "renovated" my high end apartment. I only went into the garage to sell a car.
- Trevor mentioned some planes that could be shot down or something.
- New clothes (gloves, shirts etc). You can now "store" and quick select 10 outfits (not tried this yet).
- I've also seen new cars about. You'll have to check that since i can't remember the names.
- One heist requires 2 players (Fleeca).
- Job invite list has changed (green represents heists, blue represents contact missions i think, ive seen blue and green.) There's also more of a border-radius (http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/tryit.asp?filename=trycss3_border-radius) on the invites themselves.
