Hey, I was thinking if you could disable the reverse sound in /preferences, it's annoying.
I just found a mod that gives you realistic reverse sounds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6_xEb0Mv8GI)
It's pretty horrible to use it while you can hear the scripted reverse sounds.
Add a pole first. Secondly I am neutral at this.
That horn reverse sound is retarded. You can leave it enabled by default but at least give the option to turn it off.
fix to this:
1. find a better one
2. dont listen to audio
Not everybody wants to install mods. I have, for example, always been mod free.
A simple option in /preferences would be nice. Just that i do not hear the reverse horn.
Whatever other ppl hear when i back up is their choice.

I am totally UP for this.
If only there was a way to implement GTA 3's reverse beeper sound to SAMP.There the reverse beeper sound was like in real life,and not annoying like making the horn honk when the vehicle is reversing.
Or may be find some reverse beeper sound on the internet,and play it as an audio stream,but I guess that will stop the online radio if the player is listening to any.
Not remove it, just change it.
I think it made with the horn because the horn getting synced in SAMP so you can hear others when they reversing. If you would disable it, this would affect the others players because they would not hear when you reverse.
But yeah it's a little strange.
Its purpose is to let people around you, know that you're reversing.
is there a possibility to lower the volume of the sound itself?
