I think doing a whitelist is a good idea, no more hackers online. The problem is with the ddos, he will do it unstoppable

Oh and just an other thing, when the hacker is online the server stays online. When Any mod join the server he left and within 2 minutes the server is down because ddos... Just happened.

lmao that's like preventing muslims immigrants from europe and the terrorists are the hackers in CT +1 for the creativity, I have something more fair and not very efficient as the Spekter suggestion, but only players with a CT forum account can join in CT server, that will reduce the newbies hackers a bit I think

but supposedly the anti-cheat is being worked on

are there ever any new players anyway? also why not update the anti cheat? what cheat is he using and how does it bypass the current anticheat?

I feel like a test run with a whitelist should take place first. as in every "active" account with at least some score will be automatically added, and then everyone else upon joining will receive a message telling them to register on the forum with the name they desire to use or whatever. from there, it would have to be read into by admins so they could edit this list and add new registrars. it's not efficient, and it's more work for the admins, but at least new players won't be deterred from joining if they really want to. or it could automatically add new registrars to the list, if that's possible

I'm assuming the hackers wouldn't want to wait or go through all that mess to hack a samp server with hardly any people on, but who knows maybe they would.

something along the lines of
"choose a username"
[user types in name, if it is taken reject and say name is taken]
"enter a password"
[enters a password along the requirements of our current system]
[have maybe a "captcha" type thing to prove that they're not a robot or something]

and then it would either be placed in an applications section in the forum, or if done on the website, maybe directly modify a whitelist used by the server and then reload it automatically after editing.

just my 2 cents

Alright so in the light of recent events on the server, a rather radical idea has come to my mind. Temporarily preventing all new players (new or old accounts with 0 score) from joining the server. That way, the scumbag hacker will not be able to endlessly keep making new accounts after being banned, thus his harrassing spree will end. Of course this wouldn't be permanent, it would just allow everyone else to play without fear of getting banned or their missions getting lost, while the anti cheat system is getting improved, or while another solution is being implemented. Sure it would be very unfair towards new players that would join the server with the intent to actually play, that's true. But it's also unfair for everyone else to pay the price of an inneficient anti cheat, AND the staff that team that doesn't really care (props to the exceptions, they mainly know who they are).
