Veryy good suggestion that might actually work with controlling all the big convoy problems with people that dont listen..

You are over-thinking this in my opinion. All you really want is the ability to ban players from convoy.

sry but tl;dr
just wanted to say that there's a command /lead which makes loading/unloading before leader impossible
there's also a cmd /remove [id] to get rid of those who dont listen and if they keep joining u can put a password on ur convoy

BTW im not saying its not good, i like the idea but.

-Not many huge convoys happen often at least.
-This will take effort to script like he said "requires a custom ban system for convoys"
-I don't see it that useful, he could simply say 1 by 1, to ferry.. etc
-/crules is cool too, but coudn't he just say "/pm 5 respect..

What I suggest is,

a command for the leader like /convoyrules or /crules with cooldown of 2-5 minutes, will show some lines of colored text to convoyees. this is simpler, and easier to code.

again, i liked the idea, but you can see it is not really needed as we dont have lots of players / convoys with lots of players.

This will just take ages to script while they can actually take that time into better improvements.

-Thats my 69 cents, BTW: don't reply to me/hate or whatever, i come here once a month

Either way, even players with a bunch of truck loads would abuse the powers. They wouldn't abuse it much though. The point of convoy is to all work together in a group going to the same DST. They aren't gonna kick someone because they feel like it.

Could work yes but i think it should be allowed to players who have more then 2k convoy score or 2k truck loads so they will be smart enough and won't abuse it.

People deserve chances, a simple kick command isn't going to cut it any more.

Do you know there is a cmd to remove someone from the convoy?

Another useful thing,World of Warcraft players should know it,when leader do a raid warning.

Convoy leader need a command like /cw(Convoy Warn) to display a warning on middle of the screen,a colored one. (only for convoy members)

"Don't block load/unload point"
"Load/Unload just 1 by 1"
"We will take ferry to get in WC"
"Our route will be .... "

I actually forgot to mention that  ;D Thank you!

Alright so here are some scenarios. 1st one 20+ people are convoying, they all go to load and unload at the same time (huge traffic jam) everyones vehicles are getting banged up, everyones getting pissed. What do you do? First off show all the convoy rules using /crules All or /crules {id} or /crules {ID; ID; ID; ID}. /crules All would show everyone in the convoy the rulebook for convoys (ofc) They would have to accept the rules to stay in convoy, anyone who Reject the rules, auto remove from convoy + loss of mission/monies/etc (can not be refunded by admins/moderators/convoy leaders). /crules {id}  would show 1 single player the rules, and /crules {ID; ID; ID; ID} would allow the leader to enter multiple ID's without punishing everyone for someone elses wrongdoing.  /ckick {ID} would kick 1 single person, /ckick {ID; ID; ID; ID} would of course kick multiple people at once. /cban would of course only ban 1 single player at a time whereas
/cban {FULLUSERNAMEOFPLAYERHERE} would prevent the person from accessing your convoy ever, and then comes /cUnban {FULLUSERNAMEOFPLAYERHERE} so that if you want a player to be able to join again in the future, just put that in. Now, this is just the start of more control. Eventually i will post more options if this gains more opinions from other people. I have quite a few more commands to show. Lets see how this plays out first. :)

I like your idea, if it could be explained slightly better like: which commands you should have, which commands should be used first, but i understood almost it all. Sounds abit complex to script, i mean it's like scripting a new ban system only based on convoys, but it can be possible.

Question: warnings will be gone every x minutes or x number of missions?

Good question, It warnings would be gone every x missions. If they get a warn, they have to do 2 missions without messing up, if they mess up, then 5 missions, if they mess up again they would get kicked. will post more info in a bit.
